German term
Rechnungsabstriche
German to English
Bus/Financial
Construction / Civil Engineering
From a summary of accounting for a construction project, under the heading "Zusätzliche Erlöse gegenüber Auftraggeber"
It talks about an evaluation of the Rechnungsabstriche resulting in corrections to the value of an order.
One line says:
"300.000 sind zusätzlich in den Erlösen für ungerechtfertigte Abstrichen aktiviert"
Any help with phrasing of this would be great as well.
The best I have so far:
300,000 (euro) was capitalized / carried as assets in the revenue for unjustified Abstriche"
Some dictionaries say "deduction" for Abstrich, but the accounting is not tax-related. Could it be "rounding down"? Or does it refer to items that were inappropriately stricken?
