Termine

German to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering
Gibt es eine andere Bedeutung für "Termine" als "appointments"? Ich kann mir in diesem Kontext "appointments" nicht ganz erklären.

Modell (Hardware / Termine) : Herr Schmidt
Software (Profibus / Bedienpanels) : Herr Huber

Discussion

Ilka Nahmmacher (asker) May 18, 2006:
What preceded this were installation instructions for a pump. That's why I thought "Termine" might be another word for "terminals" or some other kind of hardware. But perhaps Victor is right in that they just mean deadlines.
Ingeborg Gowans (X) May 18, 2006:
Der Kontext ist auch ein bisschen mager, um sich ein klares Bild zu machen....?

deadlines / periods for delivery

In building the word "Termine" is normally used for deadlines, completion dates, milestones etc. e.g.
- completion/delivery by 5th February
- completion within 4 weeks after date A

But you need context to decide which word fits best.
