@Paul A-Post is equal to priority and B-Post is economy. I haven't found mention of A and B Post anywhere but in Switzerland.

Switzerland perhaps? In Switzerland there are two speeds of delivery "A-post" which is faster than "B-post". This is analogue to the UK system of first and second class post.

"A" probably refers to top priority but priority is the fastest delivery anyway so A is basically unnecessary
