I asked my client what was meant by freies Geschäft.
So, maybe something like voluntarily, optional or even broader "additional?" tasks/transactions/processes / other business? Or should I spell it out based on what additional information I was provided?

Perhaps include the qualifier "extra-contractual" as you see fit?
It relates to the wastewater industry, Steffen. Does that help? |

any other additional, non-contractual business
A combination of your suggestions would get the meaning across as defined by your client.

: IMHO "additional" can be omitted: "any other non-contractual/extra-contractual business"

Yes...I was toying with the idea myself whether or not to include "additional"
