There may not be a direct equivalent

Some German University websites translate Ökotrophologie as "Ecotrophology" but that seems to be an 'invention'.
Ökotrophologie encompasses much more than just domestic science; it also covers food/nutritional science.
Also, a University "Diplom" is more like a Master's or perhaps somewhere between a first and a second degree, depending on where you study. You'd study for at least four years. A Diploma in whatever discipline can be got in a very short time, at least here in Ireland, and is usually not exactly an academic achievement.
