enterprise

Maybe this is the word on the tip of your tongue, with the simple but comprehensive meaning of a "a business organization" under the huge Deutsche Bahn AG.

May you find it tonight!

enterprise belonging to

I think company is okay too, but I'd be inclined to say 'enterprise/company belonging to'. I'd recommend careful use of the term subsidiary, as it may not actually be a subsidiary.

venture

If it's a somewhat speculative business organization, by which the Bundesbahn wants to break new ground or diversify.

But enterprise sounds good to me in the absence of more detail

is an undertaking/venture of the Deutsche Bahn

PROVIDED XXX is an activity and not a company, something which is not entirely clear from your input.
