Investment Support Act
I've read this recently in the FT in connection with the Neue Bundesländer. Investiotionsförderung is oftentimes translated as "Investment Promotion", though.

Obwohl Gitte Referenzen (sicherlich zeitintensiv) für Investment Promotion Act angeführt hat, empfinde ich diesen Ausdruck eindeutig als eine Übersetzung. Alison hat Recht, den dt. Ausdruck zu lassen und eine Erklärung auf engl. zuzufügen, und da ist Support Act meiner Meinung nach vom Sprachgefühl her \"flotter\". Eine der Referenzen ist auch von der dt. Botschaft, das könnte auch eine Übersetzung von einem Nicht-Muttersprachler sein.

: I disagree that "Investment Promotion Act" sounds translated. It is exactly what I would have used. And I have done work for, among others, the Gesellschaften für Wirtschaftsförderung in NRW and Brandenburg. I find "Investment Support Act" unusual.
