The client has confirmed that the meaning is 'cultivation conditions'. However, this is a German structure which needs to be turned round and coupled with a preposition, in this case not 'of' but 'for'.
I believe it is a reference to the suitability of the soil, i.e. quality and history. If the soil has previously been treated with chemical fertiliser and pest control, produce from that soil cannot be classed as organic.

But 'Bedingungen des' is what it is and it's a more abstract term than 'conditions for' is in English. It's not our job to improve the source text.
