Discussion

SJLD Feb 12, 2010:
agree with Kashew au niveau de = nearby, adjacent to. Otherwise it doesn't make sense. The tribune visiteurs can hardly be below ground level, which is obviously where the coaches are going.
kashew Feb 12, 2010:
Niveau: here = sector, zone, area; not "vertical relationship to".
Travelin Ann Feb 11, 2010:
something like a lower esplanade on the same level as (whatever you decide to use for tribune visiteurs)

French term (edited): sous parvis au niveau de la tribune visiteurs

lower forecourt on the same level as the visitors' stand

This is is a specific area reserved for the visitors (opposition team) where they are able to park their coaches and other modes of transport at the football ground.

CORRECTION:

That should be "visitor's stand".
Note from asker:
But how would 'sous' fit into that?

neutral kashew : Niveau could mean "very near". "Same level" as stand is dubious.

parking area adjacent to

The "sous" could mean it's a roofed-over/covered area (under a "parvi")?

I have always associated with cathedral "sites", where they are built. Perhaps this extends, religiously, to Football "Grounds"?
