"Les pupilles sont restées intermédiaires isocores et discrètement réactives."
From a report about a person admitted to intensive care with cardiac arrest. This is more or less saying "pupils equal and reactive", but I can't make any sense whatsoever of "intermédiaires" in this context. The usual meanings of "intermédiaire" just sound stupid here. TIA for any sense you can make of this extremely odd usage.

"isocore" est peu usité, "isocorie" par contre est connu comme égalité des diamètres des deux pupilles (koré en grec) et anisocorie comme son contraire
"intermédiaire" pourrait être interprété comme de la réactivité ou du diamètre, mais la réactivité est mentionnée plus loin, donc c'est le diamètre qui est l'objet ici
A noter que le vulgaris medical mentionne "isocoria" en anglais qui pourrait être replacé ici
