Hello, happy new year to everyone. Can anybody tell me what "BIOM" is in this context (from a report of a patient who got a piece of wood in his eye):
"Une fois cette goniosynéchialyse faite, nous mettons en place le BIOM, puis se rendons au niveau du pôle postérieur, l’hyaloïde postérieure est toujours collée, nous allons induire un décollement de cete hyaloïde que nous rason jusqu’en périphérie extrême sur 360° et par la suite consolidons la base vitréorétinienne à l’aide du laser endoilluminé et du dépresseur scléral."
