Discussion

Joan Berglund (asker) Aug 18, 2011:

Timothy Rake Aug 18, 2011:
rounded/dome vs. round "Cabochon" implies rather a "dome" or "rounded (at the top)" structure as opposed to simply a "round" structure, n'est-ce pas?
SJLD Aug 18, 2011:

Joan Berglund (asker) Aug 18, 2011:
This is part of a protocol for a PE and DVT treatment, so normally they are looking for DVTs; there shouldn't be any foreign object. They must mean a harder than usual blockage?
Maureen Wilkins (X) Aug 18, 2011:
Agree with you liz - rather strange for the lower leg, but "stenose" suggests that it is blocking something.
liz askew Aug 18, 2011:
How can you have a stone in the lower leg though?
Maureen Wilkins (X) Aug 18, 2011:
stone? could this be something like a (kidney) stone? Larousse gives "pierre fine, arrondie et polie"
Jean-Louis S. Aug 18, 2011:
Foreign object Could it be a nail?
