French term

commune

French to English Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering pressure sensors
I think this is referring to a pressure sensor that uses nitrogen injection. I'm unclear on what the exact relationship is between the sensor and the nitrogen, expressed by "commune."

... suite intervention sur un niveau dont l’insufflation azote est ***commune*** au capteur de pression ...

Is it saying simply that the nitrogen comes in contact with the sensor?

Discussion

claude-andrew Apr 2, 2015:
Two destinations for the nitrogen? It sounds as though the nitrogen inflow goes somewhere else as well as to the pressure sensor, and is therefore shared, or common to, both destinations. Is this possible in your context?
Jana Cole (asker) Apr 2, 2015:
Whole sentence Déclenchement phase 1 suite intervention sur un niveau dont l’insufflation azote est commune au capteur de pression => redémarrage en suivant sans impact sur la production journalière.

I think that claude-andrew correct in his discussion entry "... nitrogen inflow goes somewhere else as well as to the pressure sensor" and that the answer is there in the sentence posted by the Asker: "sur un niveau dont l’insufflation azote est commune au capteur de pression".
