Context ctd Agreed. URL to an image would be helpful...
chris collister May 21, 2009:
context This isn't much to go on - well, nothing at all, actually. Does this refer to a submarine, an AUV, cable-layer, probe....? Can't help without more information, I'm afraid.

diving bell

Without any detail, I suspect this is a ROV type affair. Comex and Ifremer use diving bells, Nautile etc for research purposes. The Nautile is pretty well known.

The Oceaneering International, Inc. M-7 Saturation Diving System has reached 760 bell runs during daily operations for a single customer on a long term platform salvage and plug and abandonment contract. Saturation divers have worked each bell run in depths to about 400fsw performing tasks from well access, debris cutting and well killing to temporary and permanent plug and abandonment operations. Even with zero visibility conditions and occasional weather delays, a pace averaging 1-2 runs per day has been maintained throughout the project.

Meanwhile, Oceaneering’s state of the art Nautilus Saturation Diving System commissioned in April 2007 and featuring a 3-man bell has performed over 125 successful saturation bell runs to date for various customers.

I agree with Chris Collister. Without details, even an URL to an image, then it's going to be difficult to be precise.

nacelle de plongeur

(slightly different) is in this link: http://www.divercertification.com/userfiles/file/Quebec Divi...

if you look up "nacelle" in the text or see page 3, top paragraph on the right of the 1st page, it gives: submersible compression chamber, platform or diving bell.
I couldn't say for certain as it's not my field but it might point you in the right direction.
