In relation to either the expert appraisal or in relation to the document

A bit more context would be helpful, but expertise is usually an expert appraisal/report and "pièce" is a document submitted as evidence.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "I'm pretty sure rapport is a noun, though no further context is given. It is literally a numbered list of pieces of evidence. e.g. 118. Rapport soit a l'expertise. (...) 240. Rapport soit a l'expertise. Thank you both again for your help."

(Refer) either to the expert opinion/or to the exhibit

Expert opinion: maybe graphologist or medical expert. Exhibit: document or physical object, perhaps.
