French term

de date à date

French to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)
Contrat de bail :
le présent bail est consenti et accepté pour une durée de 9 années, de date à date, à compter de la Date d’effet du bail susmentionnée, soit au plus tard le 30 avril 2017.
I can't find a definition for "de date à date" in French. I suppose it means "without interruption", do you know if "from date to date" is a known expression in English ?

My interpretation is that the lease starts and ends on the same date. English legalese usuall says something like "expiring on the ninth anniversary of the date of this lease". You need to do a bit of re-wording.

my question is : can you translate "de date à date" by "from date to date", or do you have to say something like "discontinuously" or "without interruption" ?

What is your question exactly ?
