My opinion.

My feeling is that the designer wants to create spaces in which people want to get together and share moments together (rather than skulking off to a bedroom on their own watching TV or playing on a smartphone...).

I'm coming in with a slightly new slant, which is perhaps the gist of that last bit, the idea that the interiors are designed to be enjoyed by everyone

I found the website your text is from, and based on the look and feel of the site, and the additional copy I could read there, I really feel they’re getting at this idea of “co-living” or “shared living” here with “partage”.
