infant formula/dairy
This is the more scientific bit of a general sales presentation of a line of infant formula, which has many advantages, etc. Among them, the proteins used in it, which
"ont les charactéristiques suivantes:
- Elles sont natives : absence de néoformés dus à la dégradation enzymatique du fromage
- Elles bénéficient d’un aminogramme supérieur aux protéines traditionnelles"
It's not quite clear what it is that is neoformé, if it's not the proteins.
I can't find descriptions of formula in English that tout this particular type of process or advantage.
Any food chemists have any ideas?

neoformed compounds
I think this is what these are usually called in English. The French seems to be using it as a noun by itself.
Often abbreviated to NFC

Comment: "That definitely sounds right. I don't see any other infant formula manufacturers talking about it, but I guess that's the French on the cutting edge again.
Many thanks"

maybe short for ''composés néoformés'':

progeny/progenies
Hi Kate,
Although I'm not an expert in this field by any means, I believe this is the correct translation for "néoformé".
The link I have come across is an article on dairy progeny testing, which would appear to fit in with your context here (i.e. related to milk/cheese etc).
Hopefully someone with a bit more expertise can back this up!

: The reference refers to bulls' progeny produced by artificial insemination. Back translation: progéniture, descendents, lignéé. I can't see what progeny or progenies have to do with the term in question.

On reflection I'd agree too. The other translations seem to fit better here in my opinion. The reference was merely to show the link between "progeny" and the dairy industry, but I accept that was wrong here.
