Discussion

philgoddard Mar 14, 2017:
X appears to mean bank charges.
Jana Cole (asker) Mar 13, 2017:
Is it at all possible that the exo could be e / x / o. So that you have three choices. At the first link, there are x's after some of the entries. https://www.fichier-pdf.fr/2014/04/10/xl-hsbc/preview/page/1...

Another image (in case it helps someone provide an answer)
Some of the entries in the valeur (value date) column are marked X

Jana Cole (asker) Mar 12, 2017:
I took a look at it again, I suppose it could be a separate column. There's nothing in it, though, for any of the entries.
Simon Willmott Mar 11, 2017:
Separate column I think it must be a separate column judging by the screenshot.
Jana Cole (asker) Mar 11, 2017:
@philgoddard The exo is part of the valeur column. It seems to be associated with it, but I don't know for sure.
Francois Boye Mar 11, 2017:
Un exo = un exercice (de maths ou physique ou anglais etc...)

Le mot exercice a un sens en comptabilité, lequel est l'exercice comptable (current accounting year)
philgoddard Mar 11, 2017:
Is the "exo" a column in its own right, containing figures, or does it belong with "valeur"?
The x could be a multiplication symbol.
Jana Cole (asker) Mar 11, 2017:
@Francis Boye Could you elaborate? EXO is an acronym? An abbreviation? What do you mean by "academic exercise"?

exo = exonéré (or exonération)

Zero-rated or exempt.

Note from asker:
Is it possible that exo is e / x / o ? At the following link, there is an x after some of the entries. https://www.fichier-pdf.fr/2014/04/10/xl-hsbc/preview/page/1/
Peer comment(s):

agree Adam Warren : I'd be inclined to prefer "exempt". "Zero-rated" refers specifically to VAT. This could also be duty or a bank charge

neutral Francois Boye : VAT exempt
