French to English Tech/Engineering Engineering (general) IT job description
See second bullet point down. I have been scratching my head about this and currently can't figure out what it means at all! Anyone out there got any ideas? Thanks in advance for suggestions.

My 1st reaction was similar to CC's - machines only for IT staff, often hidden in odd corners - but reading the whole thing including the proximity of 2 "install..." I go for Bourth's typo finally. Read only the major bullets & a typo looks more likely.

Agree w. CC, but the simple fact is that "poste(s) installateur(s)" appears 2 get zilch relevant ghits while "postes utilisateurs" gets over 13,000! Weave awl maid Scilly miss steaks haven't wee, meaning one thing but saying something entirely reverend.

That's a heck of a typo! On the other hand, large software suites are often installed on dedicated machines to serve the rest of the intranet. These machines also hold the licenses to serve the rest of the site.

typo for "postes utilisateurs"?

Since we're talking office systems here, and not servers, i.e. the computers the accountants and secretaries etc. use, then maybe it should read "utilisateurs".

Note that you have "utilisateurs des postes informatiques" in the first bullet point.

Otherwise it makes no sense to me either.
