oh and it is to be used with 400g cartridges
katem81 (asker) Aug 22, 2010:
there is a picture of the pump and its quite small almost looks like a metal bike pump but its a bit bigger and the French then says flexible a visser inclus. So some sort of screw on tubing included. Does this support thats its a pressure pump?

You have pumps to take something in or to blow, pump something out, depending on the purpose.

hand pump

As opposed to a motor-driven pump, maybe, esp. if it looks like a bike pump.

Push-action grease pump

However this one on the Conrad site is a lubrication gun, presumably one you fit to a grease nipple and push on to inject the lubricant, as opposed to mine which has a lever action. Mind you, mine has a flexible hose. I can't see this kind of "push action grease gun" working with a hose!

grease gun

From your description, this image seems to fit, and grease gun is what I have always heard, in US EN.
