argan oil

A guess - but comes up when one searches for the term:

Delicate culinary argan oil from Morocco (Ecocert 2008).

Argan oil is also named “the gold from Morocco”, not only because of its exclusive taste, but also because of the way it is produced. To make culinary argan oil, the seeds of the fruit are gently roasted in a special manner and cold pressed afterwards. Approximately 30 kg of argan seeds are needed to press 1 l. of this precious oil. The taste of culinary argan oil is distinctly nutty. Superior taste award iTQi Brussels 2007.

Our cosmetic argan oil has a very high vitamin E content and anti oxidants essential for a healthy and soft skin. It protects its elasticity and beauty and actively helps to remove wrinkles, brown spots and stretch marks. Apply on your face and or body and leave overnight. The argan oil is light and easily absorbed.

Thank you, mistsoul
agree Rachel Fell : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argan_oil http://boutique.louhann.fr/argan-extract-br-ultra-intensive-... - or maybe argan extract? Haven't looked in detail but maybe it's not simply the oil - ?

Thanks, Rachel - should have looked at the link first; not only does it sound better as a translation, it is better - perfect, in fact.
agree laura-francaise : Keep in mind that culinary and cosmetic argan oil are different...I don't know if you need to mention the differences in your article; if it's listed as an ingredient in cosmetics the fact that it's cosmetic argan oil is probably understood.

Thanks laura - Rachel's link gives the cosmetic usage.
