arrangement of facial volumes
Hello,
They're talking about productrs improving "facial volumes" (dermal fillers). There are some ghits for this written in natural English.
ensemble = arrangement (seems to be the case here)

Comment: "Thanks, Matthew. I don't particularly like "facial volumes", but it does seem to exist, and I had to keep the sentence structure, as that particular phrase was highlighted. I managed to make it work in the end - thanks for your help!"

Well you did say any ideas welcome - 'which acts on the structure of the face, seen as a number of plumped up areas which lose their volume as skin loses its elasticity.'
Note from asker:
Thanks, EJP. I liked your solution, and Emma's, but I had to keep the sentence structure as that particular phrase was highlighted (which is why I was having such difficulty!) |

give it a facelift!
Ugh! What a horrid phrase to be faced with!
My idea, which needs perfecting:
Works on restructuring the contours of the face and redefining the parts that suffer from lack of elasticity.
They seem to be trying to use architecture speak, so "volumes" means "parts" as far as I can make out.

: You can't really say a face is disorganised in En. It sounds like the nose is where the left ear should be...

the sum parts of which (see below)
Acts on the structure of the face, the sum parts of which lose symmetry (or become less evenly balanced) once the skin starts to sag
