French term

atomisé

French to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering
The text concerns a company producing plastics for the construction industry. I've never been quite sure how best to translate "atomisé". I assume it means here that other companies are small, separate and have little organisation between each other. Thanks in advance for any simpler suggestions...

Avec une progression annuelle proche de 10 %, ***** se trouve en position de leader, face à une concurrence très atomisée.
