French term
Aubes à réaction
French to English
Tech/Engineering
Construction / Civil Engineering
Plomberie, climatisation
Voic le contexte:
"Turbine avec aubes à réaction, acier galvanisé, équilibrée dynamiquement"
Apparemment "aubes à action" se traduit "forward curved/inclined blades".

No clue what one is though!!
blade, paddle for aube?

Lorsque la pression à l'entrée de la roue est supérieure à la pression de sortie de la roue, on parle de turbines à réaction. Ce sont les turbines Francis Kaplan et hélices. D'une conception complexe, elles disposent de bons rendements.

Somebody else can pick what type it might be from the list because I can't make much sense of it....

Building on the French explanation above (Ce sont les turbines Francis Kaplan ):
Kaplan turbine
The Kaplan turbine is an inward flow reaction turbine, which means that the working fluid changes pressure as it moves through the turbine and gives up its energy. The design combines radial and axial features.

reaction turbine
In a reaction turbine, forces driving the rotor are achieved by the reaction of an accelerating water flow in the runner while the pressure drops. The reaction principle can be observed in a rotary lawn sprinkler where the emerging jet drives the rotor in the opposite direction.

Type of blading identifies the blading as either impulse blading or reaction blading
