French term
indicateurs bruts à remonter
French to English
Tech/Engineering
Computers: Systems, Networks
telecoms
The context is service indicators and the information that they must supply/update. Here is the sentence:
Les indicateurs systèmes bruts suivants constituent le minimum qu'une plate-forme doit remonter pour assurer un bon suivi du QoS
Are these basic? default?
system indicators that a platform must update?reset? upload?
One brut/basic system indicator example that a platform must "remonter" (I'm leaning for update) is:
Error screen: In-Out [in nb/s and/or %] / Physical interface
Thanks again,

French term (edited):
indicateurs bruts remonter
Selected
basic indicators to be reported
remonter - to report, escalate, flag, feed back, return - any one of these can apply in IT contexts
indicateur - probably just 'indicator' here, but be aware that it *can* also mean flag (i.e. a field with only two possible values; Y/N, in/off, 1/0)
brut - basic, fundamental, in the "rough-and-ready" sense
So word-for-word:
The following basic system indicators are the minumum that any platform should return/provide/report [I prefer "return" here, but it's a personal choice] to ensure proper monitoring
(NB: 1. "nb" is not an English abbreviation, I suspect you want "no." and 2. if "in-out" was "entrees-sorties" you want "inputs-outputs" or "I/O")

Comment: "To ensure proper monitoring, a platform should report the following basic indicators...
Although I feel that "basic feedback data" is much more elegant, I'm sticking with "indicators" for "indicateurs," since the rest of the document makes it pretty obvious that the subject is, in fact, indicators.
Thank you Allen, Connor, and Charlie for the help."

Discussion
"A platform would reset or update basic system indicators ... update is better in this instance."
Next time, I will not add notes until my final answer...
