French term
Ra
French to English
Bus/Financial
Business/Commerce (general)
Swiss Commercial Register
I am translating an excerpt from a Swiss French Commercial Register.
There are three columns to the left of lists of names.
The columns have the headings In Mo Ra.
I am supposing that these stand for Inscription, Mois, and Radiation. English: Entry, Month, Deletion.
But in the Ra column, there are several numbers, some with nothing after them, and some followed by the letter m.
If I am right about the meanings of In Mo and Ra given above, what could this letter m mean in the case of a deletion?
Any help appreciated.

For some reason the Swiss add "Date of" to the French "Radiation". I had this recently in trademark documents.
Can't really help you with "m". Could be many things, like transfer of the registration to a different canton, a takeover by another company, etc.
In French, maybe "modification" or "mutation", may or may not be important, depending on the purpose of the translation.

The word "mutation" is used for teachers who want a transfer.

: Right idea but I think "deletion" is better // problem with "struck off" is that it kinda implies wrongdoing (e.g. struck off for failing to file return)

Thanks! From memory, I think Bridge has "striking-off", so "struck off" could work too. My approach is that if you get it from the horse's mouth, there can be no complaints.

The lists of names are the authorised signatories.
I also don't think you should use abbreviations as Steve suggests - they just cause confusion of the kind that led you to ask this question.
FWIW I put Ent. / Chg. / Del. in the three boxes.
