So, whereas Germany apparently recognises translating/interpreting *explicitly* in its tax code as a liberal profession, France does it by elimination.:-)

We are defined by what we aren't: we don't do commerce, we aren't skilled craftsmen, we don't manufacture, we don't farm … and we aren't members of the 'real' liberal professions that get all the attention at EU level.
