French to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) expression

Please don't tell me how easy this is or to look in the dictionary or glossaries or google, because I have! It's simply one of those awful mornings when I have a complete mind block on some ridiculously easy turn of phrase and I keep second-guessing myself.

(Company X) ce sont aussi des chiffres. Mr. D. suit le titre à la Société Générale.
L’évolution du titre depuis le début de l’année, a très clairement reflété les espérances que placent la plupart des investisseurs dans le groupe. Et en tous cas, la confiance qu’ont les investisseurs envers Company X. Notamment en matière de développement stratégique.

Would you simply say Mr D monitors shares at the bank? I think it sounds better to say that he monitors the stock market, but that is more general and they are referring to the company specifically.
Stock development since the beginning of the year?
Stock progression?
