French term
ponctionner la réserve
French to English
Bus/Financial
Accounting
This is in relation to creating a budget forecast. I have found several examples from the House of Commons in which they use the term "cannibalize" (the budget) and "wrench out" (funds from), that I don't want to use. Would "withdraw from the reserve" be correct?
thanks everyone.

Maybe... Otherwise, it's a little more cumbersome: withdraw funds from the reserve

@ Karen: Your suggestion – "withdraw from the reserve" (without funds – is also fine. ;-)
