1. Remove the Inbal valve from the piping system.
2. Remove the control system from the valve.
3. Mark the cages and the housing to ensure identical assembly later.
4. Open the central stud and nut. Remove the stud from the sealing disc in a swiveling action (counter-clockwise) to eliminate any damage to the O-Ring inside the sealing disc. Remove the cages.
5. Remove the sealing disc by pressing it out axially (using press machine) or by beating it (using a plastic or metal hammer and a block of wood).
6. Remove the two stainless steel rings from both sides of the housing. Remove the internal resilient sleeve, mesh rug sleeve, and external sleeve.
7. Clean the housing, the sealing disc, the stud and the cages if necessary. Check for any damage including the internal O-Ring of the sealing disc (replace if necessary).
8. Take the new External (thin) sleeve, and install it inside the housing. Verify that the shoulders of the sleeve envelope both sides of the housing ends.
9. Insert the mesh rug sleeve in the housing symmetrically to both housing ends. Fold out the sleeve ends and verify that they are spread symmetrically. Install the two stainless steel rings on both sides of the housing. Use a plastic hammer to locate the rings in the right position.
