Daily control of Ctotal using portable PID-monitors; maximum concentrations to be met have to be discussed with the French authorities in advance. The PID-measuring takes place behind the main filter at each line. In case of increased values the police filter will be changed to the main filter and the main filter to the police filter (by changing the tubes con¬necting the filters).
− Calibration of the PID-measurements by a chemical analysis (analytic screening of main parameters) of the air at the beginning of the project. Repeated during remediation action if necessary.
− Daily control (olfactometric test) of the purified air exhausted by the police filters; in case of odour immediate change of the active carbon filling
