Escape the unforgiving Midwest winter with a dose of island heat at Dutch chef David de Quay's eponymous Lincoln Park joint, where the palate-tingling flavours of old colonial bedfellows Holland and Indonesia come together to add a generous dose of gezellig to the local scene.

Exchange the cold for the warm atmosphere of an Indonesian island
It may be cold outside, but in this restaurant it's lovely and warm, both literally (presumably) and figuratively - the warmth of an Indonesian atmosphere. Restaurants are often referred to as islands (as diners can feel so removed from the outside world), but in this case it has a double meaning as Indonesia itself is also composed of islands.

Spices are also very important in Indonesian cuisine, with many dishes being very "hot" in that sense too. I don't think that's the main intention of "heat" here though.
