Key-in system

English Tech/Engineering
"We operate a key-in system. Please can I have the keys before we load/tip your vehicle."
Any ideas? The "key" here must be an actual key, not in figurative sense. I translate this into Hungarian, but any explanation is welcome.

Big mystery! Do you have any more context?

I would assume that the company in question asks vehicle driver tohand over their ignition key before loading, to avoid any risk of the vehicle being moved before loading/tipping is complete... (or if payment is involved, to prevent them from leaving before paying for the goods loaded?)

Hope this helps...
