Assuming we are talking about real-estate, and assuming these are house prices (and not e.g. rentals), then I'd have to assume it is actually referring to hundred of thousands of $
so 'mid 200' would be somewhere around 250 — let's say from 230 to 270, roughtly. And by the same toekn, high 300 would be, let's say, from 375 to 399.
