Stop bothering me!
I think in this context that it means "Stop bothering me" or "Stop annoying me"! Another way of reading it is that the person wanted the child to simply not be near him or her, because he was so obnoxious.

That's the sense I get, she was wanting the child not to come and bother the others with his need for attention.
