frigid = sexually unresponsive

I believe the word was meant to be frigid, literally "extremely cold."

agree Ramesh Madhavan : If you keep something in 'fridge', it can become 'frigid'. May be 'fridget' is a small 'fridge'? :-))

I suspect that many a woman labeled "frigid" has simply had bad experiences with one or more "icemen". ;~}

agree airmailrpl : probably not an "icemen" but a "rocketman"

Pretty much the same thing emotionally, no? (my point being that although the word frigid is only used to apply to women, there is probably a cold male counterpoint)

agree Özden Arıkan : maybe it's one Bridget who happens to be frigid, but is this really a kudoz question?

neutral Gillian Scheibelein : frigid is sacred? do you mean scared?

It is not "frigid", it is "Fridget". Thanks.
neutral Refugio : the reference you found is probably a misspelling, as they also write sacred for scared

disagree airmailrpl : your reference is some kind of strange sex chat and full of typos - the word is frigid
