I heard stories about people who could levitate, I heard of people who had been buried underground for weeks on end. When I got there, I found all of this happening all over the place, with people materializing everywhere.

Such people are said to be capable of disappearing (dematerializing) from one place and appearing (materializing) in another one.

they say some people can become visible (in flesh) somewhere else, different from the place they are actually staying. Sometimes they materialise merely out of air ( or imagination, or nowhere, etc.)
