well-bonded

English Social Sciences General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
She stops him with a gesture."Where's your room, what hotel?”
They tell her, and it turns out to be a little motel, not far from where they are. Not exactly top security for her, but she jsut can't muster a rational doubt about this trick. Anyway, the're all impressed with their friend now--he's so well-bonded that he's practically glowing--and she would hate to let them down.

Apr 10, 2015 06:56: changed "Kudoz queue" from "In queue" to "Public"

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Charlesp

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

he has bonded with his friends

The man in question has won his friends' approval by being brave enough to solicit a prostitute.

tied up so tightly

Shirley,
What was happening right before this? Did the prostitute engage in bondage with the client? Bondage is a "sexual practice that involves physically restraining (by cords or handcuffs) one of the partners."

Source: Dictionary

"Well-bonded" sounds like the guy is tied up and extremely pleased (glowing).

My confidence level on this is low due to lack of context.

I meant to write: tied up tightly (without the word "so").
