Dear All,
I am translating a contract.
In my understanding, contract and agreement are similar. We can say service contract or service agreement, but not "contract agreement".
In the original source, "contract agreement" as the name of the contract. This is likely the first time I've faced this.
Google this, I found

My question: is it normal to use "contract agreement" and in which case?

Legally, an agreement isn't necessarily a contract. So "contractual agreement" works OK. You could just say "contract" too. I wouldn't say "contract agreement."

Contract
I would conclude that you only need the word "contract", since a contract is in fact an agreement that has been more formalised and binding (signed and including certain penalties for breach, etc.). See the links below.

: In what way is that helpful to the asker? // I'm sorry but I don't see the use of a link using "witnesseth" to be at all useful for a contemporary translation

: I must agree with Shiela that your link doesn't actually help with the linguistic element in Phong Le's question.
