Discussion

Ken Cox Mar 6, 2008:
If you had to replace it with another word, 'protocols' would be an option.
Ken Cox Mar 6, 2008:
Puzzling. Hyiene is normally used in IT contexts with reference to keeping systems free of viruses and avoiding unauthorised use, and sometimes in a more general sense for keeping things 'clean and tidy', but I don't see how it fits here.
Nesrin Mar 6, 2008:
Could this be a case of mistranslation from another language?
Hikmat Gumilar (asker) Mar 6, 2008:
No further information Dear Mark, There is no further information provided.
The title is "Feature List" with three sub-headings: Core, Support and Hygiene.
Under Hygiene, it contains tech terms of Internet connection features found in modern mobile gadgets such as HSDPA, EDGE etc.
What does Hygiene here mean? Surely it's not a health related thing...can I change it to "Connectivity"? Why should it be Hygiene?
Mark Berelekhis Mar 6, 2008:
Could you please elaborate?
