Discussion

Gary D Oct 24, 2008:
Motorcycle Road Sport. MRS
They are road and Sport bikes and the alternative is
Motorcycle OFF Road / Recreational MOR
Just a thought, not an answer........
ZenonStyczyrz (asker) Oct 24, 2008:
It's an official document issued in the USA in Nevada
David Moore (X) Oct 24, 2008:
As I see it, either of these answers may be correct; what exactly is the "Salvage title" - is it an official document of some sort, a sales or scrapyard receipt or something similar, and if so, where did it originate? That might help us along the road.

motorcycle road/street

Not sure about this, but I think MRS is a code referring to the vehicle body type, i.e. a road/street bike

customised body by M.R.S. Ltd.

The chances are, that the Bonneville being a famous motorcycle model, the "body" refers to customisation.

disagree David Moore (X) : Sorry, but I think that added context sank you!

No, what sank me was the incomplete question. I was in two minds to ask further clarification, but at the end I didn't bother. Just shows, how even experienced colleagues don't provide enough context when asking questions, and it is frustrating.
