English term

de-isolation

English to Thai Tech/Engineering Petroleum Eng/Sci energy isolation and de-isolation
I understand that "energy isolation" is "การตัดแยกพลังงาน" and so I understand that "de-isolation" would be the reverse of that, but I'm not sure how to translate it in Thai. Maybe something like "ยกเลิกการตัดแยก" or something a bit more elegant than that?

Here are some examples of the term "de-isolation" being used in the text I'm working on:

- Once the job is complete, the equipment will need to be de-isolated.

- The Supervisor will contact the Section Leader requesting approval to de-isolate or function test if required.

- Otherwise, they can change the status to De-isolation approved.

- From here, a message will display showing that the De-Isolation has been approved.

- The Competent Person will then perform the De-isolation, and the Supervisor will communicate to the Permit Controller that the Isolation is Complete and that the Permit can be Completed.

- The Permit Controller can then click De-isolation Complete and Complete Permit.

Someone has already asked about this term, but they were translating from English to Russian, and I don't know Russian, so it's not very helpful to me: https://www.proz.com/kudoz/english_to_russian/construction_c...

Thank you in advance for your help!

de-isolation

"ยกเลิกการตัดแยก" is sound alright and correct. However, I might rather make it more elegant with the world "ยุติ", which I think it sounds very professional. Another word that can be used is "หยุด". But I'll stick with "ยุติ" rather than another word.

In the end, the actual word I use for de-isolation is "ยุติการตัดแยก".

I hope this help.
