This term is not referring to the ability of an item of clothing to "expand", but the *tendency* for the prduct to be larger than the expected or stated size (grande, mediana, etc.):

El cuadro de tallas en el sitio web referido tiene el siguiente aviso en cuanto a escoger la talla de una prenda (i.e., "sizing"). Esta es la misma acepción de la palabra *runs* con respecto a la ropa:
"Keep in mind this is a general size chart. All clothing lines *run differently* ( o sea, 'tienen distintas tendencias'). Please refer to the chart below for recommendations on sizing particular brands. [http://upthehill.com/about/size.html]
