This is one of the warnings given regarding the use of the LPG system in the yacht's galley:
"Do not use the hob unit when high angles of rolling are likely"
¿No use la placa cuando sea probable que la embarcación ladée/se vuelque?
Thanks in advance :-)

balanceo

"rolling" movement of the vessel from side to side; it tips to the left, then the right. Most cookers are hard to use in these circumstances as the gimbals, the pivots they rest on, cannot compensate the degree of movement and spill the boiling contents of the pans on the cook's legs, or worse.
No emplear la cocina cuando se espera fuerte balanceo del barco.

neutral Mariana T. Buttermilch : uups Peter, just the same I wrote earlier! . I gave him these two options, but more than that I'm fair and I wouldn't have done what you did, but it's ok!. Believe me that in your case I would have written an agree and your nice explanation attached to it

yes, but you're not sure and I'm certain beyond doubt and have given him an explanation and an idiomatic translation of his full query

Résumé / Abstract
A detailed exposition of the kinematics of the transverse plane motions of ships is provided, with particular attention to the important process of total transverse acceleration in vessel coordinates. The loci of sway, sway velocity and sway acceleration are shown to follow hyperbolic distributions with respect to elevation in both regular and irregular waves. Expressions are given for the elevations minimizing transverse plane processes in regular and irregular waves. The effect of hull form, transverse stability and natural roll period on transverse plane motions are examined in an attempt to resolve the dichotomy of views between those who favor ships with low GMT and long natural roll periods and those who favor high GMT with short natural roll periods
