He visto muchas interpretaciones diferentes de este término. En primer lugar, pensé que se trataba de "noches de insomnio" o "noches en vela", pero luego he visto traducciones muy dispares y quisiera saber cuál es la correcta. Gracias.

Sueños que lo despiertan (abruptamente) Me parece que el término "waking" seguido del guión indican que es un modificador "waking" del término "dreams".
Podrían ser alucinaciones hipnagógicas, pero que lo despiertan en estado de angustia.
