Ok.
Please could somebody tell me what the Spanish term for midget is.
I know that Dwarf is "Enano"
but
if " All midgets are dwarfs, but not all dwarfs are midgets"
from this we know that in the medical field these are not the same,
in the dictionary and word searches the translation for the two are the same, but they can not be because their condition are different.
Please can somebody clarify this for me.
regards

Check this on Wikipedia: "Midget (from midge, a sand fly is a term that is widely considered pejorative for a person of unusually short stature, often one with the medical condition dwarfism, particularly proportionate dwarfism." Maybe this can help you. The link to the page is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midget
Example sentence:

Midgets suffer from dwarfism.

Note from asker:
All dwarfs are midgets, but not all midgets are dwarfs- so if a dwarf is a "Enano" A midget must be something else......?
