No sé si se está refiriendo a un instrumento quirúrgico o a una técnica/método. ¿Sería correcto traducirlo como "bisturí inteligente"? ¿Tiene otra traducción más técnica, exacta... este concepto?

Un bisturí inteligente destinado a detectar la presencia de las células cancerígenas mientras el cirujano extirpa un tumor oscurecido por la sangre, el músculo y la grasa.

A través de la cauterización, cirugía menos invasiva, se genera un humo que es procesado para conocer de inmediato las características de las células extirpadas
