In this case it is trying to see if a given medication caused any negative effects for the patient...It is not dealing with LOC here....

Existe la denominada "Escala de Glasgow" sobre los niveles de conciencia que van de alerta a coma profundo, tu texto trata de evaluar niveles de conciencia, o efectos de una medicina...?

se sintió adormilado o se llegó a dormir de forma accidental en el día de hoy?

"sentirse adormilado" diríamos en España para que suene natural.

o "te sentiste.../te llegaste a dormir...", en caso de tutear
