He encontrado "mezcla (descendente) a dos canales" y "submezcla a/de dos canales". ¿Alguna de las dos es correcta?

Dolby Digital sound on DVDs is full surround sound consisting of 6 independant channels of sound (technically it is known as "5.1 surround sound"), but it is incompatible with normal stereo equipment. If you just take the "left" and "right" channels out of a 5.1 mix to your left and right channels on your stereo system, you will only get a small fraction of the full soundtrack, probably just the extreme surround effects. You will not get any bass sounds at all (they go to the ".1" channel, and you probably won't get any dialogue or music, either. It will sound really bad!
So, in order to play a DVD soundtrack on normal home stereo equipment, the player "re-mixes" the 5.1 sound to just two channels, which are the normal stereo "left" and "right" channels.
I've seen this translated as "remezclado a dos pistas", "remezaclado en estereo" (yuck!) and also simply as "remix a dos canales".
